ZAVEN TASHJIAN

Yeghpayr Zaven Tashjian was one of the faithful members of Homenetmen’s Anjar branch, who at the age of 42 fell victim to a disgraceful act if violence of the enemies of the Armenian people.

He joined Homenetmen in his youth. Though he did not have notable activity as an athlete, as a conscientious and devoted Homenetmen member he had firm faith in the Organization’s mission and contributed to all its work in Anjar.

From 1979 until his martyrdom on March 3, 1986, Yeghpayr Zaven represented the ARF Anjar Committee, performing all entrusted tasks with selflessness and diligence.
