The Start of the Online Course: “Araradian Gark”

On Saturday, May 22, 2021, the scouts online course “Araradian Gark” undertaken by The Homenetmen Central Committee was launched.

Forty-five leaders who meet all the requirements set by the code of the organization, attended the online course. These leaders came from sections, chapters, and Executive Boards of different countries.

After listening to the anthems of Armenia and Homenetmen and observing a moment of silence in the memory of the deceased members of the orgsnization, Kouyr Talin Ordoghlian, one of the Central Committee Scout Representatives, greeted those who were present and explained why the highest order in Homenetmen, which is organized once every four years, was online this time. Kouyr Ordoghlian explained that in order to assist in the planning and implementation of the course, the Central Committee set up an energetic committee of three “Araratian-Gark” group leaders: Kouyr Arda Zeytunlian (Lebanon), Kouyr Nare Khelghatian (Armenia), and Yeghpayr Agustin Analian (South America) who had been working on this program for several months with Central Committee Scouts representatives.

Then, Yeghpayr Vatche Najarian, the Chairman of the Central Executive Board, welcomed the audience and encouraged the participation of so many group leaders in the course. He explained that the "Araradian Gark" required complete commitment, consistency, and seriousness from the participants. Yeghpayr Najarian wished success to the participants and the organizing body. Two representatives, Yeghpayr Fadi Khajag Kazanjian and Yeghpayr Oshin Pirumian gave a heartfelt speech.
The group leaders who participated in the course, had the opportunity to introduce themselves to the participants in a few words. Then, Kouyr Ordoghlian presented thoroughly the details of the one-and-a-half-year program.
