The Fleur-de-lis is the symbol of the World Scouts. The three upper petals represent the threefold Scout Promise: “Duty to God and Country, Duty to Self, and Duty to Other.” The two small five-point stars represent the alert, bright eyes of a Homenetmen scout that are full of wisdom.

The two lower side petals represent the smiling face of a scout, while the middle one represents the tongue that always tells the truth.
